Nova is a white-label, B2C insurance quotation and lead-generation platform built to replace a health insurer's manual, Excel-driven quoting process with a centralized, configurable digital system giving customers instant, accurate premium breakdowns, and giving internal teams a single source of truth for product data, pricing and lead pipeline.
Challenge
Premium rate tables, benefit parameters, loading factors and optional add-on pricing were spread across spreadsheets that were difficult to maintain and slow to update. Individual quotes required staff or brokers to look up rates by hand, and SME and corporate quotes required manually parsing and validating census files, then aggregating per-member premiums slow, error-prone and hard to scale.
Solution
Nova, a centralized web application, is being built to replace spreadsheet-driven workflows.
Centralised product knowledge:Rates, benefits and rules live in the database instead of scattered spreadsheets.
One pricing engine:Individual and SME quoting share the same engine and benefit configuration, improving consistency across individual, micro-SME, SME and IPMI offerings.
Eliminated manual document work:Branded PDF generation, configurable quote expiry, cloud-based census storage and Excel export for sales teams remove repetitive, error-prone manual effort.
Auditability built in:Pricing configuration changes are tracked through ConfigVersion history, with email notifications covering account verification, password reset and quote-related communications, plus a dedicated alert for high-priority insured-lead scenarios.
Self-service plan exploration and instant, transparent premium breakdowns replace waiting on manual quotes.
A single source of truth for product and rate data reduces rework whenever plans or loadings change.
Captured lead data and quote status tracking, retrievable by the insurer's CRM through a secured integration, replace ad hoc spreadsheet exports.
Quote-stage premium figures give finance visibility into proposed premiums ahead of later-phase payment processing.
