Privacy Policy

Last Updated: Aug 8, 2025

At Techiebutler, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share information only when legally required or to protect our rights.

5. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

6. Refund Policy

At Techiebutler, we do not offer automatic refunds. Refunds may be considered only through mutual agreement if there are genuine concerns with service delivery. Once a project milestone is approved and payment is made, it is considered final unless otherwise agreed.

7. Cookies

Our website does not collect any information about you except what is contained in cookies. Cookies are stored on your device, including a mobile device, according to the preferences you set in our cookie consent manager.

What is a cookie? A cookie is a small text file stored on your system or phone to perform functions such as remembering your preferences, so that we can deliver a better experience.

What do we store? Before you choose, we set nothing at all. Your decision is saved in a single first-party cookie, tb_consent, for 182 days. It holds only the version of the notice you saw, which categories you allowed, the time you chose, a random short id, and whether you accepted all, rejected all or saved custom choices. It contains no name, email, IP address, device id or browsing history, and nothing is written to localStorage, sessionStorage, or to our servers.

Here is how we use cookies:

How can you manage cookies? Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and turning a category off deletes the cookies belonging to it. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we record a rejection automatically and do not show the banner.

Separately from cookies, and not covered by the banner: like any website, our hosting provider records each request in server access logs, including your IP address, browser user agent and the URL you requested. That is processed on the basis of legitimate interest, to keep the site secure and available.
